Engaged Eventually !!!!!!!

I am now no longer a single gal..... I have been promoted to Fi-on-say!!!!
This all happened on Valentines Day, at Wang-thai Restaurant at the Grand West Casino...
When Juan told me we were going there for supper, I was quite surprised as he was suppose to be making supper this year (our little tradition), but went along regardless!
When we walked into the restaurant they asked our name if we booked etc... and the manager goes: "yes Juan you are at table 23", and I was like wow they are rather client oriented, he didn't even need to look at the book to see where we were!
Well we sat down and chatted and our very gay waiter arrives and we order some wine.
Now because the casino is 90% non-smoking if Juan wants to smoke he has to go into the casino, so I was like go for a smoke, but he said later.
We got our wine and then we studied the menu for our starter......
so we order and our platter for two (enough to feed like one budgie!!!) and we get a fortune cookie.
Mine read: " a secret admirer will soon make his feelings known"
So I was like Ha Ha Ha Secret admirer, imagine this troz!!!
Then Juan was seriously twitchy, but we ordered our food and waited. Juan didn't go and smoke he wanted to wait till after supper.
So eventually our food gets to us and yet another fortune cookie....
I was so hungry I just wanted to dive into the food so started to open my fortune cookie, but then Juan is like:" noooooo me first,"
Looking at him very strangely I put my cookie down and let him open his cookie first.
He had these words in it about love being the greatest gift of all, so then it is my turn........
I cracked open this fortune cookie and to my surprise is a solitaire diamond ring
and this proposal:
What would yin be without yang
what would lemon pie be without meringue
What would false be without true
What would I be without you
Darling will you marry me...

I was so shock surprised happy excited all at once!!
There our very gay waiter was standing with a tear in his eye!!!!
Then Juan had to go and smoke, while I called up a storm!!!!

How romantic is that!
He had to find the verses he put in the cookies, printed them to my printer at the office, had to get fortune cookies, try and get them open without breaking them, sealing them again!
Then he had to mark them (so our very gay waiter could tell them apart!) arrange it all with the restaurant and get the ring to them before we got there for supper!!!
Oh how romantic was this!!! I didn't choose my ring, but a while back gave him a general idea of what I liked, and it is just perfect!
I will post a picture of my bling when the perfect shot comes along!!
Now it is just the wedding we need to get behind us! :)
